The Squid Game hype is far from over, as the show is coming to life via an actual reality series titled Squid Game: The Challenge. Netflix has promised that the gameshow will be the "biggest reality competition series ever" - with the largest cast and lump sum cash prize in history. So, yep, huge.
Inspired by the fictional series, the show will see 456 real players competing in a series of games in a bid to win $4.56 million. Casting began in June 2022, so we're hoping to see this one launch sometime in 2023.
